The Real Ale Corner goes foraging!

Join Mr Ford on a guided foraging walk on Saturday 26th October starting at 10AM from Linacre Reservoir lower carpark.

The walk will last approximately 3 hours.

What to bring:

- walking boots or similar

- weather-appropriate clothes, including a waterproof coat and extra laters as the weather can be unpredictable

- hand santizer

- bottle of water

- foraging basket (optional, or large purse)

- a snack to keep you going!

About the walk:

The walk will start with an introduction from Mr Ford, and a chat about how to forage safely and ethically, and the law on foraging. Expect to be on your feet for the vast majority of the session. The walking route may include slippery steps, inclines and banks, but will mainly be on footpath which could be muddy.

As we walk we will stop to identify both edible and poisonous plants and fungi we come across. We will take a look at edible wild species and any poisonous lookalikes. Please feel free to jump in at any point with questions!
